Invoicing & GST

An API, and webhooks that mean it
If you have a developer, or a system that has to know about your bookings, you do not have to ask us to build an export.
API keys you issue yourself
Generate and revoke keys from Settings → API keys. Scoped to your venue, and revocable the moment somebody leaves.
Idempotent v1 endpoints
Send the same request twice and you get the same result, not two bookings. That is a promise about the API, not an aspiration — retries are how real integrations behave.
Webhooks with a delivery log
Subscribe to events and see every attempt, its response and its retries in Settings → Webhooks. When an integration goes quiet you can tell whose end it is.
Where your data lives, and who can reach it
Short version: your customers’ data is yours, it is isolated per venue, and card details never touch us.
Isolated per venue
Every row carries its venue, and the database enforces it — not the application code. One venue cannot read another’s customers, and neither can a bug in a page.
Cards go to Stripe, not to us
Payments run through your own Stripe account. Card details never touch your site or ours, and payouts land in your bank, not in an escrow we hold.
Erasure you can action yourself
Delete a contact’s personal data from the admin, per person, without raising a ticket. Records you are legally required to keep — an incident log, a paid invoice — are retained and say so.
Working With Children checks, recorded honestly
Sweepa records a WWCC number and its expiry and reminds you before it lapses. It does not verify it against a state register — no platform can — and the admin says “recorded”, never “verified”.
